The Heart Behind the Barn

Bring 125 years

of connecting communities and shaping futures.

Our Story

Landgraf’s Red Barn is part of the Landgraf Family Tradition of bringing over 125 years of locally owned companies to you.

A few years ago, we started researching what we could do with some of the unused space at our Red Barn. We wanted to value add our products and contribute to our community. Thus, a shared, rentable, commercial kitchen became our goal.
Our family’s goal throughout the years has always been to bring quality products and service to our community.

Our Mission is simple…
Building our Community through Great Food.

History

Our dairy farm sits behind the Red Barn. It was started as a 4-H project by my father in 1959, when he was 8 years old, as a cow and calf.
Since then, our family run dairy has grown to milk around 65 cows at a given time. Versus focusing on high number commercial herds, we have focused on quality genetics and breeding programs and high quality nutrition so our girls give exceptional milk.
Our beautiful Brown Swiss girls can be seen roaming the hillside from the Red Barn.

Our family can also boast a construction company that started over 125 years ago… yup late 1800’s. It started as a lumber yard

The Barn

The Red Barn was not originally part of our farm. It was built around 1950 by the Holcomb family. It passed hands over the years and was fondly known as the “Antique Red Barn” for many years as it was an antique shop.
My grandparents bought the property in the late 90’s. It had a floor that was falling in and was definitely a barn. It was my grandfathers tinker project for a few years making the one main room into a quaint venue space for our family reunions and holiday gathering. Grandma then started renting it to family and friends for their get-togethers.
